We recommend using the conference center laptop for your presentation and uploading it there during the previous break or earlier. This way switching from one speaker to the next will go smoother and technical help from the conference center is available. However, if for some reason you need to use your own laptop, this should also be possible.
Please introduce yourself to the session chair in good time before the session starts.
Please check that your presentation displays correctly at the latest during the last break before your session in order to minimise technical problems during the sessions.

Aspect ratio
- We strongly recommend 16:9 aspect ratio for presentations.
- Slides formatted at 4:3 can be shown, but then the full screen will not be used.
- Setting the aspect ration in
- PowerPoint: File → Page Setup, select Widescreen
- Keynote: Document → Slide Size, select Widescreen (16:9)
- Google Slides: File → Page setup, select Widescreen 16:9
- LaTeX beamer: The aspect ration can be defined with the option aspectratio: \documentclass[aspectratio=169]{beamer}

Slides
- Please make slides easily readable with large text.
- Do not put too much information onto each slide.
- Please check carefully that all videos run correctly and ensure that you have uploaded all the necessary files.
- Please inform the venue technician when there's sound or video included on the presentation.

- Finlandia Hall's data projectors have resolution 1920x1080.
- Data projectors have HDMI and VGA outputs.

- Presentation material should be in PowerPoint or PDF format.

- The length of a plenary presentation is 15 minutes, plus 5 minutes for discussion, unless informed otherwise.
